Friends,

Over the last few weeks, we have watched a tragic shooting that was ruled self-defense devolve into lawless riots and acts of violence. This is unacceptable.

Our ICE agents have a job to do, and it is not an easy one. Because of the reckless failures of the Biden administration, millions of illegal immigrants have entered our country from all over the world. Among them are criminals and individuals who pose serious threats to public safety – people who will violently resist lawful arrest and deportation.

Let me be clear: America is a nation built by legal immigrants, and we proudly welcome those who follow the law. But a nation without borders is not a nation at all. We cannot reward illegal entry by allowing those who threaten our communities to remain here indefinitely.

Peaceful protest is a constitutional right, and it must always be protected. But when protests turn violent, they cross a line that cannot be tolerated. Too often, these so-called “protesters” are not acting in good faith. Many are organized agitators – sometimes even paid and coached – to inflame tensions, damage property, and attack law enforcement. When violence is funded and coordinated, the people financing it are criminals, and they must be held accountable. That accountability cannot stop with those on the streets; it must extend to those writing the checks.

What makes this situation even more troubling is the growing evidence that many of the organizations sponsoring or supporting this unrest are funded – directly or indirectly – by taxpayer dollars. Congress continues to approve massive spending packages that funnel money to corrupt NGOs, foreign governments, and fraudulent domestic programs. In some cases, politicians who vote for these packages later receive campaign donations from the very organizations benefiting from them.

This is a broken and corrupt system, and fixing it is one of the reasons I am running to serve as the next United States Senator from Michigan.

The attacks on ICE represent a profound disrespect for the rule of law and for our nation itself. They must stop. That will only happen when Congress and state leaders stop enriching themselves by funding corrupt entities – both foreign and domestic – and instead put the safety and security of the American people first.

If elected to the U.S. Senate, I will fight wasteful spending that enables enemies of freedom to attack American interests. I will demand real accountability through serious investigations, arrests, and credible prosecutions – from the rioters on the streets, to the boardrooms that fund chaos, and even to corrupt officials who abuse their power.

Justice must be blind. Whether you are a violent agitator, a billionaire financier of lawlessness, or a politician who thinks they are above the law, I will fight to ensure the even hand of justice is applied to all.

If you believe our country deserves secure borders, equal justice, and leaders who will put Americans first, I ask for your support.
