A Michigan woman, Moneque Cook, lost her life in subzero temperatures.
She was not a headline. She was not a talking point. She was a human being with God given value. She was someone’s neighbor. Someone’s daughter. A Michigander.
Her death forces us to confront a difficult but necessary question. What are our priorities?
Leadership is not simply about action. It is about the direction of that action. Government was operating. Resources were being allocated. Policies were being enforced. Decisions were being made. The issue is not whether leadership was acting. The issue is what those actions prioritized.
When a Michigander is left unprotected in life threatening conditions, something is out of balance.
This is not about political parties. It is about responsibility. Government exists first to protect the lives and safety of its citizens, especially in emergencies. When priorities shift away from that foundational duty, the consequences are real.
Accountability means leaders answer for the results of their decisions.
Balance means compassion never comes at the expense of our own citizens.
Constitution means government fulfills its core responsibility to protect the people it serves.
These are not abstract principles. They are the foundation of effective leadership.
I am running for the United States Senate because Michigan deserves leadership that understands this. Under my leadership, Michiganders will not be forgotten. The first responsibility of government is to protect its own people. That means preparedness in extreme weather. That means coordinated emergency response. That means ensuring resources reach those in immediate danger.
Protecting life is not optional. It is the first duty of public service.
Priorities matter. Lives depend on it.
If you believe Michigan deserves leadership grounded in Accountability, Balance, and the Constitution, I invite you to learn more about what I stand for and the path that has led me to this moment.
Together, we can restore Faith, Family, and Freedom and ensure that no Michigander is ever left behind.
